We got our start when our founder returned from a 72-hour round trip between Denver CO and Rapid City SD. The trip would have taken about 16 hours in a traditional vehicle, but without access to fast chargers in South Dakota and Wyoming, the trip became almost an unbearable experience. Other EVSE companies have been focused on the local and corridor commutes as critical steps to broad adoption of EV usage. EVTrail is focused on long-distance EV travel, largely in underpopulated remote areas. We believe this is a critical component of EV adoption. Much like the Oregon Trail and other trails from over 100 years ago that became a huge part of developing our country, EVTrail is poised to become an equally large part of America.
